In the event of a loss of control link, the UAV will hover before initiating a RTH if this has been programmed.

If this occurs, the following steps can be used to troubleshoot:

  • Re-orientate controller antennas or yourself to ensure direct line of sight with UAV with the maximum surface area of antennas showing
  • Cycle the control by shutting down and rebooting
  • Instruct Observer, if available, to clear the exclusion zone as the UAV will be auto-landing
