9.7. Configuring Konica Minolta bizhubs

To extend its print management and document capture functionality to Konica Minolta bizhub MFPs, PriApps uses the Konica Minolta OpenAPI SDK that is based on the Microsoft .NET Framework. As a result, there are a number of dependencies and pre-requisites required to configure and deploy PriApps to bizhubs.

Before starting, ensure that all bizhubs are configured correctly and are running the required firmware to support OpenAPI version 3.7.x connections or above, Konica Minolta’s bizhub Extended Solution Technology (bEST).

Next, the Microsoft .NET Framework version 4.5 SP1 and Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) 6.0 or above need to be installed and configured, ideally on the same computer as the PriApps Application Server.

After these steps are completed, you can now configure the Konica Minolta bizhubs and deploy the PriApps solution.
