Prerequisites
DEVELOP ineo MFPs must have the correct level of firmware installed to run Konica Minolta bEST (OpenAPI) applications. Please refer to the recommended firmware document for the specific ineo.
The DEVELOP ineo MFP must also be fitted with LK-101 (MFP web browser license) and the ME-1GB (additional memory).
Settings
Open a browser window and enter the IP address of the target DEVELOP ineo MFP. Then login as Administrator.
Now create the SSL certificate.
Create SSL Certificate
Under the Security menu, select Device Certification Setting and create and install a self-signed certificate.
Enter the certificate details, using your own information, as shown in the example below. The validity period has a maximum of 10 years (3650 days).
Once the certificate has been created, the details can be viewed by selecting the Detail option. This should then display the details of the certificate previously entered.
SSL Settings
Select the SSL Setting option and apply the settings as shown.
Certificate Verification
Select Certificate Verification Setting and ensure that verification is switched ON.
OpenAPI Settings
Under the Network menu, select OpenAPI Setting. Ensure Use SSL/TLS is set to SSL Only and the Port No (SSL) reflects the same port number as set under Applications -> Authentication Settings -> Deployment port number in the Configuration Application.
TCP Socket Settings
Ensure the TCP Socket Setting is set as shown below.
WebDAV Client Settings
Ensure the WebDAV Client transmission Setting is switched ON.
WebDAV Server Settings
Ensure the WebDAV Server Setting is switched ON.
Web Browser Settings
Ensure the Web Browser Setting is switched Enable.
