9.1.2. Form Behavior Properties

In this tab, users can view and modify the properties of the selected form behavior.

*To edit the properties of a given form behavior, users must first double-click on it in List of Form Behaviors tab. They will then be automatically redirected to the Form Behavior Properties tab, where they will find the form behavior’s properties on display.

This tab can be divided into two main sections: General Properties and Template Properties.

1. Form Behavior – General Properties

In this section of the tab, users can manage the general or basic properties of the form behavior.

• Form Title: This field allows users to set the display title of the form.
• Category: This field allows users to choose the form category from a dropdown menu.
  • When a category is selected, its view order is displayed in the Category View Order field.
    

    **Categories are retrieved from the Form Categories section of the Designer program.

• Form Behavior View Order: This field allows users to set the view order of the form behavior—that is, the order in which the form appears in the form menu or its assigned category.
  • Users can enter this number either manually or by clicking the increment/decrement arrows.
• Category View Order: This field displays the view order of the selected form category—that is, the order in which the category appears in the web application.
• Authorized Resources: This field allows users to choose the authorized resources or receivers for the form from a dropdown menu.
  • Resources can be departments, roles, users, or groups. Multiple resources can be selected at a time from the dropdown.
    

    **Assigning a resource to a form grants that resource permission to access and interact with the form.

    !!Resources can only be assigned to starter forms. If a non-starter form has been selected, the Authorized Resources field will be disabled.

2. Form Behavior – Template Properties

In this section of the tab, users can manage the template properties for the form behavior.

• Select Template Output Type: This field allows users to choose the template file type from a dropdown menu.
• Title: This field allows users to set the title for the template in different languages.
  

  **Currently, only five languages are supported on the web server: English, French, German, Arabic, and Hebrew.

• Word Template: This field allows users to upload a template file for the corresponding language.
  • If selected, a file dialog will appear, enabling users to browse and choose files from their local system.
    

    !!Upon upload, a unique identifier is automatically appended to the file name to prevent naming conflicts and ensure the integrity of existing files.

• Save the Changes: This button allows users save their changes.
