As the Excel Import form outlines, to import a user list into either DBP or EPC, you will need to upload an Excel file (.xlsx) that meets the following requirements:
- It must include the user list on Sheet1 of the document.
- It must include the listed column headers in the first row of the spreadsheet:
- It must adhere to the following guidelines:
- For a new role, you will need to input the corresponding department. For an existing role, the department is not required.
- To enable EPCAdmin, Modeler, and/or Portal for the user, simply input “Yes” in the relevant fields. To disable these permissions, instead leave the columns blank.
- To mark an item as active, input “Yes” in the relevant field. To mark it as inactive, leave the field blank.
- The system will disregard a blank or null value under the Login and/or Username columns.
- For a new role, you will need to input the corresponding department. For an existing role, the department is not required.
It is also possible to download an Excel file from the Organization Management application and use it as a template. It will contain the following column headers:
