Just like offerings, individual mappings have one of two statuses: Published or Unpublished. Published mappings are visible in PSD to searchers (i.e., the open Internet), and unpublished offerings are not. Think of unpublished mappings as still in draft, or potentially use them as a sandbox. This published / unpublished value can be easily toggled at any time.

Pictured: The published vs. unpublished status of each offering’s mappings can be viewed next to the name of each offering. In this example, all offerings’ mappings shown are in the published state.

In order for a mapping to be published, the mapping must meet the following requirements:

  • The mapping rationale must be present.
  • The mapping rationale must be at least twenty characters in length.
  • At least one maturity level must be selected.
