Extended care is offered from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and fees are in addition to the tuition fees and not included as part of the CWELCC Program 2024 tuition charges.
Please note that extended care availability is limited and subject to Ministry guidelines and staffing ratios. Submission of this form serves as a request for extended care or changes to existing care arrangements and is subject to approval based on availability. All requests must be submitted by the 14th of the month preceding the start date. For example, to begin extended care on December 1, 2024, the request form must be submitted and approved by November 14th, 2024.
Any child remaining at the facility past closing time will incur a flat fee of $25.00, plus an additional $2.00 per minute beyond the scheduled pick-up time. We value our staff, their time, obligations and family commitments, and it is essential to respect their scheduled hours. These charges are not for profit but are paid directly to the staff member who stays beyond closing as compensation for the inconvenience. Charges will be invoiced within 24 hours and are payable immediately. Please note that repeated late pick-ups may result in the suspension or termination of child care services.
