ActiveControl Unit Test Automation capability hooks into standard SAP functionality available within SAP Code Inspector, and can be used to:

1) run automatically at the point of transport release in the SAPGUI, to ensure Developers get early awareness of unit testing issues with the changes they have made.

2) run automatically as a ShiftLeft Analyser in the Web Platform, to ensure that Approvers also get visibility of non-adherent transports.

Configuring Unit Test Automation

Step Configuration
1. The unit test automation on transport release is switched on in table /BTI/TE_ACTIVE in the domain controller by adding the Unit test on release active function for the relevant development system.
2. The SAP Code Inspector variant and user parameter also needs to be configured in the Domain Controller in backend table /BTI/TE_ACTPARMS.
3. Switching on ShiftLeft: Unit Test Automation.
