Basis Technologies support each release of ActiveControl for a period of three years from its GA (Generally Available) release date.
The End of Support date for each release can be found in the ActiveControl – Product Maintenance.
Basis Technologies strongly recommend our customers to upgrade before their current release goes out of support, as it not only makes it a lot easier for us to support any issues that they might face within the product, it also ensures that the customer is benefitting from all of the latest production evolution.
Availability of the UI’s in future ActiveControl releases
The ActiveControl Web Platform in AC9.10 replaces both the pre-existing ActiveControl Web UI and also the Windows GUI in their entirety.
As of release ActiveControl 9.20, only the new Web Platform will be delivered as part of ActiveControl. The legacy Windows GUI and BSP-based Web UI will both be retired and deprecated.
