ActiveControl includes a capability to add Custom Tabs on a Business Task or Transport Form level. This can be useful for customers that want to add a large number of custom fields within ActiveControl to track additional information, but don’t want them all to appear on the main General tab.
Custom tabs are visible on the Business Task and Transport Form screens in the Web Platform. They are not seen in the SAPGUI screens.
Configuration
Custom Tabs can be created via the Custom Tab subscreen on the Custom Fields app within the Administration screen.

After creating the new custom tab, custom fields can then be assigned to the custom tab. If left blank, the custom field will appear on the ‘General’ subscreen by default.
If you decide that a custom tab is no longer needed as part of your process, you can only delete the tab and/or the custom fields. It is not possible to hide the custom tab.
