ActiveControl is installed in the central Domain Controller and all participating satellite SAP systems.

This section details the steps to remove the installation of ActiveControl from your system.

Deletion Transports

Deletion transports to uninstall ActiveControl in both the Domain Controller and participating satellite SAP systems can be provided by Basis Technologies upon request. Via the Add-On Manager, you can apply the deletion transports to remove all the objects associated with ActiveControl. All workbench objects will be removed via this approach and none are required to be manually handled. All ActiveControl related data and configuration will also be removed when uninstalling.

The only thing that will remain after applying the deletion transports will be the RFC connections and Users. These should be manually deactivated and removed, or retained if still operational for other purposes.

It is recommended that the uninstallation of any Production system objects is carried out according to your system maintenance schedule.

Uninstallation Timing & Sequence

There is no specific order in which to uninstall the ActiveControl add-on as there are no inter-system dependencies between the Domain Controller and all participating satellite SAP systems.

License Keys

Any license keys associated with your ActiveControl tool will become inactive at the time of uninstallation.

Dependencies

If you are operating other products from Basis Technologies, you should check with Basis Technologies team before uninstalling the Diffuser Framework.

Diffuser is separate from ActiveControl and could impact the usage of the other Products you have installed.
