In general, the schedule has been consistent from year to year. Creativity and adjustments to the format are encouraged.

Here is the general schedule:
Sunday: Pre-Conference workshops, Welcome Plenary and Welcome Reception (It’s a good idea to do the Student Poster Competition this day.)
Monday: Plenary session, concurrent sessions (60-90 minute sessions) and poster presentations.
Tuesday: Plenary session, concurrent sessions (60-90 minute sessions) and poster presentations. This can be a short day with the entertainment in the afternoon/evening.
Wednesday: Plenary session, concurrent sessions (60-90 minute sessions) and poster presentations.
Thursday: Plenary session, concurrent sessions (60-90 minute sessions) and poster presentations. End by mid-day.

Special events to consider or plan:
New Attendee Gathering
Diversity Gathering
Women’s Networking Event
Annual Awards Ceremony (this can take the place of a Plenary session)

Other sessions to schedule:
In-person Board of Directors Meeting — typically on Sunday
Membership Meeting

It is recommended that concurrent sessions be scheduled in 60 or 90 minute segments.

Presenters are required to notify organizers by a specific date if they accept the invitation. If they do not notify the organizers by the deadline, they are not guaranteed an opportunity to present in the schedule.
