Funding is obtained through grants and sponsors, however, the bulk of the funding for the annual meeting is derived from the registration fee paid by each participating attendee.

The Annual Meeting Contractor shall provide records regarding previous meeting costs and sponsors to the TOC. This provides continuity of the processes required by sponsors as well as the identity of likely sponsors.

The chairs should review the expenses and income of previous meetings to develop an initial estimate of needs. Note: Previous Annual Meeting and Joint Meeting Records are stored in the GSM Area of the ISES Basecamp account.

The TOC is expected to generate all of the funding necessary to run the meeting, plus provide a minimum of $35,000 to the ISES general fund. However, the EC can provide additional support for special EC needs (e.g., needs for the board or business meetings, scholarships), as it deems appropriate.
