6 of 13: Remove Sump Suction Screens

Remove any solid residue/debris from the bottom of the tank prior to moving forward.

Tools required:

• 9/16 socket wrench
  

1. Use a wrench to remove the bolt holding the sump suction grate.

2. Run the grate over hot water to remove any residue/support that is trapped in the fine holes of the grate.

3. Once clean, replace the grate and use the wrench to secure the bolt.
