Flex Nozzles

Flex nozzles should be used to improve support removal rates on internal channels for a limited number of parts. You can install a maximum of 26 flex nozzles at once. For processing a higher volume of parts with complex geometries see the following section on the Submersion Vortex Cell.
INSTALLATION:

• Remove the part tray from the chamber and set aside. You now have access to the bottom manifold.

• Using an adjustable wrench remove the front left manifold nozzle.

• The flex nozzle will thread into the open nozzle port. Tighten with the same adjustable wrench.

• The flex nozzle kit comes with additional colored clamps that can be added around the joints for increased rigidity.

USAGE:

• Once installed replace the tray and angle nozzles toward internal geometries as seen in the following photo. Fixture bars and bolts can be used to keep the part in place.
