At various stages of the Incident Management workflow, users have the option to escalate an incident to a quality event.

Before initiating the quality event, the user must assign a party (user, role, or group) to act as the reviewer. This party will be tasked with completing the Review the Issue task, which will include details about the incident.

In the Review the Issue form, the following automatic configurations will be applied:

  • The quality event name will be set to ‘Event from [Incident ID – Incident Name],’ reflecting its source.
  • The quality event ID will follow the format ‘QE-INC-[No.].’
  • The event type will be set to Incident.
    • The Event Type field will be disabled to prevent modifications.
  • The Incident Details accordion will be displayed, providing relevant information about the incident.
