All process maps require a start event—that is, a trigger that causes the process to begin.
When a start object is linked to another element, the transition between them (known in the Designer as an event) is automatically defined as “StartHumanEvent” on the process map.
Selecting a start object on the design canvas will display its associated properties in the Properties panel.
- Start Form: This is a single-select dropdown field that retrieves the list of start form behaviors (from the Form Behavior section of the Forms module). It allows users to assign a start form behavior to the object.
- To define a new start form behavior, select the
button.
- It will display the Form Behavior Properties window.
- To modify an existing start form behavior, select the

- To delete a start form behavior, select the
