Users can create grids with various functions that can be combined in almost any configuration.* Within the grid interface, these functions can be grouped into two primary interaction modes: grids with modal operations and grids with inline operations.
*While users can generally combine modal and inline operations in a grid, they are restricted to choosing only one type of add function—either Modal Add or Inline Add. Both functions share the same button and cannot be enabled simultaneously.
*Depending on their needs, users can further customize grids by enabling additional functions, such as dropdown data selection and Excel data integration. For more information on how to enable grid functions, click here.
