4.1.7. Form Designer – New Accordion Control

We’re pleased to introduce a new addition to the Form Designer toolbox: the accordion control. This feature allows users to efficiently organize and manage content in collapsible sections, especially beneficial for longer forms. With its user-friendly design and navigation, the accordion ensures visually appealing and interactive form layouts, providing a fresh approach to form creation.

Feature Highlights:

1. Constructing Accordions

• Accordion Sections: Shape your form’s structure by adding, removing, and/or rearranging accordion sections.

  **Users can manage accordion sections, along with their customizations, in the Accordion Sections Editor window.

• Drag-and-Drop Content Organization: Utilize the drag-and-drop interface to add and arrange controls within the accordion. This includes the ability to nest accordions within main accordion sections.

  • Sub-Accordion Preview: Web View

    Sub-accordions are automatically scaled down by 5% from the main accordion.

2. Customizing Accordions

• Multilingual Captions: Customize section captions with multilingual support, adapting to your preferred language settings.
• Tailored Typography: Personalize the font family, size, color, background color, and typographical emphasis for each section.

  **Users can set a different style for each accordion section or apply a uniform style for all sections.

3. Managing Expand/Collapse Functionality:

• Default Section State: Configure sections to default to an expanded or collapsed state.
• Collapsing Behavior: Take control of how accordion sections collapse.
  • Enable sections to be manually collapsed as needed.
  • Set sections to collapse automatically when another section is opened.
• Multiple Opened Sections: Allow multiple sections to be expanded simultaneously.
