12.1.2.1.1.19.1. Nested Form Link – Binding

In the Binding category, users can link a nested form link control to its corresponding attribute and define its binding properties.

1. Attribute: This field allows users to select the attribute associated to the nested form link control.
   • To access the list of relevant attributes, click on the ellipses () inside the field.
     

     **In the Object Browser window, users can access a list of the associated entity’s attributes—specifically, the attributes relevant to the nested form link control. To select an attribute, either click on the Select button or double-click on the entry from the list.

   • Once an attribute has been selected, it will populate the Attribute field.
     

!Users must bind the nested form link control to the foreign key linked to the nested form. For more information on this matter, click here.

2. Control Properties: This field allows users to configure the control properties.
   • To access the control properties, click on the ellipses () inside the field. In the displayed window, navigate to the Nested Link tab.
     
     • From Physical Form dropdown, select the nested (or custom) form.
       • This form will be displayed within the main form when the nested form link control is activated or clicked by the user.
