1.5.4. Floor-Mounting (Style-198)

Floor-mounting is the standard means of installing the Style-198 enclosure. Be sure to consider the following:

1. Refer to Outline Drawing Style-198 Enclosure.
2. Locate anchor bolt holes at least 4.25in /108mm from any wall, to allow clearance behind the mounting brackets.
3. Select conduit entrances with planned ac input and dc output wiring in mind.
4. Location requirements:
   1. Free of drips and splatter. If falling particles and liquids are a problem, install a NEMA Type-2 drip shield accessory.
   2. Between 0 and 122 °F / -18 and 50 °C, with relative humidity between 0% and 95% non-condensing.
   3. Must be free of flammable or explosive materials.
5. Maintain at least 6in /152mm of free air on all vented surfaces for cooling.
6. Allow 36in /914mm front clearance for operation and maintenance.
   

PROCEDURE

1. Place the ATevo into desired location. Trace the location of floor-mounting holes using the four (4) 0.625in / 16mm floor-mounting holes on the bottom of the enclosure as shown in Outline Drawing Style-198 Enclosure.
2. Drill four (4) 0.xxxin / Ymm holes into the floor at the location of the mounting holes traced onto the floor.
3. Install four (4) 0.xxxin / Ymm anchor bolts (not supplied) rated to support the unit weight plus a minimum safety factor of two (2) times, into floor through the four (4) holes in the bottom of the enclosure.
