What is the UV CUMULATIVE TRANSFER DATA Table?

This table extracts data from the UV UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER INST table and provides a summarized count of institutions and transfer hours for all transfer institutions attended, all Arizona Community Colleges attended, and all Maricopa County Community Colleges attended.

What is the key (unique identifier for a row) for this table?

Unique records are determined by Semester, Arizona Unitid, and ASSIST Student ID. In other words, there is one record per semester per university per student.

Why would you use this table?

If you are a community college, you would want to use this table to determine how many hours your students transferred to a university from all Arizona community colleges, not just your own institution.

If you are a university, you would want to use this table to identify how many of your transfer students previously attended ANY Arizona community college and to determine the total number of AZCC transfer hours.

Notes on using this table:

(1) In this table, Arizona Unitid refers ONLY to universities.

(2) If you are a community college, you will need to join this table with the UV UNDERGRADUATE TRANSFER INST table by Semester, Arizona Unitid, and Assist Student ID. You can then limit UV Transfer Institution Code to your institution code to select only those students who attended your institution PRIOR to attending a university.

(3) This table does NOT provide institution-specific data, only summarized data.
