Input of an XML-file with a predefined format

Working with XML-files in CadConnect
Import of an XML file requires, that the file has a specific pre-defined format and that this format has been set up in CadConnect Setup mapping tables.

To work with XML-files, you must select XML as Standard Import Format and supply the correct XMLport ID, that matches your data-structure.

In addition, you will need to set up the proper mapping to link your files XML-tags to the correct fields or attributes in CadConnect and BC.
You can set up mapping to item fields, item attributes and BOM line fields.
You must also define relevant values for transformation of Unit of Measure codes and defining Replenishment System.
