Using cost calculation when working on a construction

During working with a construction it is possible to calculate the cost as the work progresses.

Press the Handling, Calculation button.

The calculation uses the same principles as a standard BC cost calculation, and calculates cost for materials, setup, labor and overhead for all lines and accumulates into the header total cost field.

Material cost are based on the “Unit cost” price of items and the work center/production resource rates.

If you should have forgot to calculate before creating data in BC, a warning message is issued to take action on that

!Please note, that when creating new items the Standard Cost value will be updated on these items accordingly, but only if you create items using a template where costing principle has been set to “Standard Cost”.
