Placements in a Student’s Workplace

If you wish to complete a practicum in an agency, in which you have previously or currently work, you must complete the Practicum Worksite Proposal. It is important to note that the criteria for consideration include that your employment supervisor must be different from the Field Instructor. As well, the practicum duties must be different from the current responsibilities held in the workplace. There must be a plan in place to limit client overlap and to ensure boundaries are in place when this occurs.

The paperwork is submitted to the Practicum Coordinator and the Field Director will make the decision and communicate to you.
