General Practicum Information

* “Transformative education for exceptional social work practice”

First year entry: students are required to complete Social Work Practice I (1296), Social Work Practice II (SLWK 3397) and Social Work Practicum III (SLWK 4497/4597) to earn their degree.

Third year entry: students receive credit for one practicum placement completed as part of their diploma and are required to complete Social Work Practicum III (SLWK 4497/4597) to earn their degree.

It is important to keep up with important prerequisites for securing a practicum. Please contact the Program Advisor/Practicum Coordinator to ensure that you have completed the required courses to enter practicum.
