The position control roster shall:

  • Share a common database and be integrated with the district’s payroll system;
  • Agree to the account codes in the budget software.
  • Insure that the data within the position control roster system includes:
  1. A tracking number for each position including:
    1. An accurate expenditure account code(s)
    2. The position’s full-time equivalent value by location;
    3. The certification title and endorsement held, as applicable
    4. The assignment position title as follows:
      1. Superintendent or Chief School Administrator
      2. Assistant Superintendent
      3. Business Administrator/Board Secretary
      4. Board Secretary (when other than I, II, or III above)
      5. Principal
      6. Vice Principal
      7. Director
      8. Supervisor
      9. Facilitator
      10. Instructional Coach by Subject Area
      11. Department Chairperson by Subject Area
      12. Certificated Administrator – Other
      13. Guidance
      14. Media Specialist/Librarian
      15. School Nurse
      16. Social Worker
      17. Psychologist
      18. Therapist – OT
      19. Therapist – PT
      20. Therapist – Speech
      21. Certificated Support Staff – Other
      22. Teacher by Subject Area and/or Grade Level
      23. Instructional Assistants
      24. Certificated Instructional – Other
      25. Aides supported by IEP
      26. Other Aides
        1. Maintenance Worker
        2. Custodian
        3. Bus Driver
        4. Vehicle Mechanic
        5. Food Service
        6. Other Non-certificated
    5. A budgetary control number for substitute teachers
    6. A budgetary control number for overtime
    7. The status of the position (filled, vacant, abolished, etc.)
    8. Name and/or ID # of the employee currently filling the position
    9. An indication, when available, of whether the incumbent employee is retiring in the budget year or not being renewed including associated costs such as contractual buyouts, severance pay, paid vacation or sick days, etc.;
  2. Each of the following for the incumbent employee:
    1. base salary
    2. step
    3. longevity
    4. guide
    5. stipends by type
    6. overtime
    7. other extra compensation
  3. The benefits paid/provided to the incumbent employee by the district, net of employee reimbursements or co-pays,
    1. by type of benefit and for FICA and Medicare;
    2. The date the position was filled by the incumbent employee; and
    3. The date the position was originally created by the Board. If the date the position was originally created is not available, this item shall represent the date the person currently filling that position was approved by the Board.
