Requirement – Import from Codebeamer

CT provides a feature to import requirements created in Codebeamer into CT 2024.12.

1. In the Import Wizard, select [Requirement] > [Import from Codebeamer], then click [Next].
   

2. Verify the Codebeamer server information, then click [Next]. Click the button to display the entered password.
   
   • Click [Codebeamer Server Preferences…] to edit the server and authentication information.

3. Select the Project and Tracker for the requirements to be imported from Codebeamer, and the corresponding list of requirements will be displayed. Review the list and click [Finish] to import them.
   
   • Assign Attribute: Select the fields to be used for the title and description of the requirements. By default, the title is set to Summary, and the description is set to Description.

*The requirement list displays a maximum of 10 items.

4. When a project is open, [Connect requirements and tests] dialog appears where you can connect the imported requirements and tests. If the title or description of the requirement contains the name of the function associated with the test, it is automatically linked. Click [Cancel] to finish [Connect requirements and tests] without linking requirements and tests.
