CT 2023.12 provides a test compile feature to check for errors in modified code associated with tests, before running these tests.

Test Compile Settings

In [Preferences] > [Target Test], the option to enable automatic test compilation is available. This feature initiates a test compile process whenever modifications and savings

Test Compile

If automatic test compile is not enabled, selecting from the toolbar menu in each view allows for manual initiation of the test compile process.

Test Editor

Test compile is available for the Test global code, User code, and Before/After call code in each function.

Stub View

Test compile is available for Stub code of user stub.

Class Factory View

Test compile is available for user-created Class code.

Result

Test compile is available for the test editor, stubs, and class codes. If errors occur during test compile, they can be displayed in [Error View].
