Word Games

YetiWord Games aim at practicing the capacity of handling words by finding, guessing, or identifying the right words, and is currently featuring:

• Word Search,
• Word Guess,
• Color Word.

Settings

Icon	Name	Description
	Back icon	This icon is located in the top left corner. Clicking on it will go back to the main YetiBrain Games menu where you can choose a different game.
	Difficulty icon	This icon is also located in the top left corner, right next to the “Back icon”. Clicking on it will pop up the difficulty levels, including ‘‘easy’‘, ‘‘medium’‘, and ‘‘hard’‘. Tap on the difficulty level to select one. The current difficulty level will be in a light grey color.
	Sound icon	This icon is located in the top right corner. Clicking on it will mute the sound, and the icon changes into muted mode .
	Tutorial icon	This icon is located in the top right corner, right next to the “Sound icon”. Clicking on it will pop up the tutorial for showing how to play the game.
	New Game icon	This icon is located in the top right corner, right next to the “Tutorial icon”. Clicking on it will start a new game.

How to play?

Word Search

In ‘Word Search’, the idea is to find the words from the list in the grid. When the game starts, the words can be found from the list on the left. Find and trace with your finger all the hidden words in the grid in the center. Depending on the different difficulty levels, words can be placed horizontally, vertically, diagonally, or backwards.

Difficulty

You can choose among three different difficulty levels from a drop-down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘. Switch among them by tapping on the ‘‘EASY’‘, ‘‘MEDIUM’‘, or ‘‘HARD’‘.

• For the easy difficulty level, the words can be placed horizontally and vertically.
• For the medium difficulty, the words can be placed horizontally, vertically, and backwards.
• For the hard difficulty, the words can be placed horizontally, vertically, backwards, and diagonally.
  

Word Guess

In ‘Word Guess’, the idea is to guess the word according to the length of the given blanks. When the game starts, guess the hidden word by tapping on the letters before your tries ran out.

Difficulty

You can choose among three different difficulty levels from a drop-down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘. Switch among them by tapping on the ‘‘EASY’‘, ‘‘MEDIUM’‘, or ‘‘HARD’‘. As the difficulty increases, the number of tries gradually decreases.

Color Word

In ‘Color Word’, the idea is to choose the answer according to the central upper word’s color. An example is located on the right side. Tap on the ‘‘START’‘ button to start the game. When the game starts, you can choose the right answer out of three options.

Scoring

The game consists of five rounds. The game keeps a score based on the correct answers. You score more points if you answer quickly.

Difficulty

You can choose the difficulty level from a drop-down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘.

Easy: There are only 4 possible colors. There are only two options to choose from.
Medium: There are 8 possible colors. There are only two options to choose from.
Hard: There are 8 possible colors. There are three options to choose from.
Extreme: There are 8 possible colors. There are three options to choose from. The color of the texts on the buttons change to random colors.
