YetiScratch is a game to identify or recognize an image by scratching the coating off. Furthermore, it was designed with the rehabilitation of fine motor skills in mind. The goal of the game is to accurately wipe the image out of the coating on the screen.
It is currently featuring eight categories, such as all animals, Finland, travel, forest animals, safari animals, farm animals, nature, and cars. The picture in ‘‘all animals’‘ category is a mix of the categories forest animals, safari animals, and farm animals. Visual and audio stimuli keep the players engaged throughout the game. Furthermore, this game is particularly fun when played with multiple players, while one player scratches little by little, the others guess what the full image would be.
How to play?
The game was designed for facilitating the motor skills that the players could either use their fingers or a brush to remove the grey coating on the screen.
Start the game by tapping on the category of interest. Choose from topics such as all animals, Finland, travel, forest animals, safari animals, farm animals, nature, cars, or even your own pictures. Tapping on the ‘MANAGE OWN PICTURES’ in the bottom right corner to upload your own pictures. Click HERE for more information.
When the game starts, the screen only displays the grey coating, and the real image is hidden underneath. The players remove the coating by wiping on the screen. The real image would emerge little by little. The length of the white bar above the grey coating shows the ongoing progress. Tap the ‘‘NEW GAME’‘ button in the top right corner to restart the game, if the players are no longer interested in the existing image during the game or afterwards.
