Memory Games

Memory games mainly focus on memory practice. Remember and choose the right images or lit-up shapes in the minigames, such as

• Match Pairs,
• Memory Blocks,
• Follow Sequence.

Settings

Icon	Name	Description
	Back icon	This icon is located in the top left corner. Clicking on it will go back to the main YetiBrain Games menu where you can choose a different game.
	Difficulty icon	This icon is also located in the top left corner, right next to the “Back icon”. Clicking on it will pop up the difficulty levels, including ‘‘easy’‘, ‘‘medium’‘, and ‘‘hard’‘. Tap on the difficulty level to select one. The current difficulty level will be in a light grey color.
	Sound icon	This icon is located in the top right corner. Clicking on it will mute the sound, and the icon changes into muted mode .
	Tutorial icon	This icon is located in the top right corner, right next to the “Sound icon”. Clicking on it will pop up the tutorial for showing how to play the game.
	New Game icon	This icon is located in the top right corner, right next to the “Tutorial icon”. Clicking on it will start a new game.

How to play?

Match Pairs

In ‘Match Pairs’, the idea is to practice the memory by tapping a card to flip it over and trying to find its matching pair. It is currently featuring eight categories, such as all animals, Finland, travel, forest animals, safari animals, farm animals, nature, and cars. The pictures in ‘‘all animals’‘ category is a mix of the categories ‘‘forest animals’‘, ‘‘safari animals’‘, and ‘‘farm animals’‘.

Start the game by tapping on any category. When you flip over 2 cards with different images, the cards will flip back. While you flip over two cards with the same image, the cards will vanish. You can accomplish the game until all the cards vanish. Moreover, you can also use your own photos while playing. Difficulty

You can choose between three different difficulty settings from a drop down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘. Switch among them by tapping on the ‘‘Easy’‘, ‘‘Medium’‘, or ‘‘Hard’‘.

• For the easy difficulty level, the cards are limited to 6.
• For the medium difficulty, the cards are limited to 8 cards.
• For the hard difficulty, the cards are limited to 12 cards.
  

Memory Blocks

In ‘Memory Blocks’, the idea is to memorize boxes that turned blue before they disappear, and then tap the boxes which turned blue before. Tap on the ‘START’ button to start the game. When the game starts, after ‘WATCH CLOSELY’, some blocks will be lit up in blue color for three seconds. You need to remember those lit up blue blocks and tap on those blocks after the screen showed ‘REPEAT. If you tap on the correct blocks, they will show in blue color. If you tap on a wrong block, it will show in red color. The game continues until all the correct blocks are blue.

Difficulty

You can choose between three different difficulty settings from a drop down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘. Switch among them by tapping on the ‘‘Easy’‘, ‘‘Medium’‘, or ‘‘Hard’. For the difficulty level from easy to hard, the total amount of blocks is limited to 8, 12, and 20 respectively. The difficulty of the game progresses automatically, based on the performance of the player. If no mistakes are made by tapping on the blocks, the difficulty will increase by adding more blocks to the upcoming rounds.

• For the easy difficulty level, the number of blue blocks is starting from 2, maximum to 4.
• For the medium difficulty, the number of blue blocks is starting from 3, maximum to 7.
• For the hard difficulty, the number of blue blocks is starting from 5, maximum to 10.
  

Follow Sequence

In ‘Follow Sequence’, the idea is to memorize the sequence of the circles that turn green before they disappear, and then tap the circles which turned green before in the same order.

Tap on the ‘‘START’‘ button to start the game. When the game starts, after ‘WATCH CLOSELY’, some circles will turn green one by one. You need to memorize and tap on the green disappeared circles in the same order after ‘FOLLOW THE SEQUENCE’. If you tap on the correct circle, it will show in green color. If you tap on the wrong circle, it will show in red color, then you can try others. The game continues until all the correct circles are green.

Difficulty

You can choose between three different difficulty settings from a drop down menu of ‘‘Difficulty’‘. Switch among them by tapping on the ‘‘EASY’‘, ‘‘Medium’‘, or ‘‘HARD’‘. The difficulty of the game progresses automatically, based on the performance of the player.
