One of the most important features of Diabetes:M is the ability to share the data with clinicians. In order for the clinicians to get access to your data they must have a clinician account registered in our system. They can register and aqcuire a personal clinician’s code trough here: https://www.diabetes-m.com/login/.

The clinician must give you his clinician code that he have received after the registration, you can enter it into the app and send a request to the clinician for data monitoring.

This feature is only available for users with a subscription, so you must have an active subscription

Adding a new Clinician

Open the left drawer menu and tap on “Clinician” option. If you don’t already have a clinician then a screen for the code entry will be displayed otherwise a list of all clinicians that are allowed to access your data will be shown instead. Once the clinician’s code is added, Diabetes:M will wait for the clinician to accept the request. Until then a message “Waiting the clinician to accept the request.” will be shown in the clinician’s info.

Approving a Clinician’s request

Another possibility is a clinician to request access to your data. In this case the clinician will be visible in the list but the message “The clinician requested your approval to monitor your data.” will be visible. To approve the clinician’s request tap on the list item and open the clinician’s details. Tap on “Accept Clinician’s request” to allow the clinician access to your data.

Removing a Clinician

You can remove the clinician and revoke its access to the data at any time. You simple have to open the screen with his details and tap on “REMOVE CLINICIAN” button at the bottom of the screen.
