Working with clients makes most sense if you are a fleet providing company, leasing out a fleet to multiple companies – if you are just managing the fleet for your own company, this concept is probably not really interesting.
Each unit can be associated with a client, and thus the concept is useful in a few of places:

  • Filter by client when viewing units on the map.
  • Filter by client when viewing units that are up for service.
    The data you enter for a client is just for recognition – only the name is used in various menus around the FMS application:

You manage clients just as any other list item – please refer to the Adding, editing and deleting items section for instructions.
After adding a client you can add contacts to the client in the lower half of the screen:
