On top of the obvious features like keeping track of the location of your units, the FMS application allows you to do a number of other interesting things:

• Theft protection: Since the GPS devices in your vehicles and machines are hidden, FMS doubles as an excellent unit locator, should you be the victim of theft.
• Documentation: For service workers, an exact report of a unit’s whereabouts can be used as documentation to customers.
• Reporting: All reports can be scheduled to be sent to any number of e-mail addresses.
• Maintenance: You can get notified when any of your vehicles or machines are up for service – the FMS application knows how many kilometres vehicles have travelled and how many hours machines have been running.
• Surveillance: Receive instant alarms on e-mail or SMS if a unit behaves in an unexpected manner – leaves the typical area of operation, runs within restricted time frames etc.
