Module Wiring /

The Run/Reverse inputs on all EZ-Qube Module modules (EXCEPT EZ-Qube-P-J Article Number 1510-6040) can be wired to accept either PNP or NPN source signals. EZ-Qube-P-J is configured so its Common terminal is connected to the Module’s 0V GND. EZ-Qube-W and EZ-Qube-W-Ai can be configured by its Mobile App to use the Common terminal to isolate the I/O power supply or select fixed PNP/NPN connections tied to the module’s power supply. Refer to Topic Input / Output Signal Settings for details on configuring EZ-Qube-W and EZ-Qube-W-Ai modules.

*The PNP and NPN versions of EZ-Qube Module refer to how the ERROR and SPEED OUTPUTS are electrically configured at the factory. NPN or PNP EZ-Qube Module part number designations do not apply to the signal source for the Run/Reverse inputs.

!To use the REVERSE input, either RUN A or RUN B must also be energized. Please note that you DO NOT have to de-energize both RUN A and RUN B signals in order to change MDR direction with the REVERSE input.
