The ConveyLinx-ECO Module utilizes a 300 mA auto-resetting fuse to protect the control and logic circuitry which includes the CPU, LED’s, sensor ports, communication ports, etc. From this circuit, the Sensor ports share their own separate 100 mA auto-resetting fuse.
!User’s must take care in the types of sensors and devices that need to connect to a given ConveyLinx-ECO Module and assure that the total current draw on both ports does not exceed the fuse ratings. If the 100 mA fuse trips, there is no direct indication of this state. An indirect indication could be to see if a connected sensor is powered when plugged into either port.
!If the 300 mA fuse trips, upon the automatic reset of the fuse, the ConveyLinx-ECO Module should reboot on its own. However, the ConveyLinx-ECO Module may require the power to be cycled manually to fully restart
