4.1.2. Automatic & Manual Action Item Reminders

To enhance task management and ensure timely execution, we have introduced automatic and manual reminders for action items issued for execution.

1. Automatic Reminders

Automatic reminders for ongoing actions are now dispatched at key intervals: 30 days before, 7 days before, and on the day of the due date. This systematic approach ensures that action item owners are kept informed and well-prepared for upcoming tasks.

2. Manual Reminders

Manual reminders can be dispatched on demand. In the Action Item Reminder module, users can now selectively trigger notifications for action items.

*To specify which actions need reminders, select the corresponding Selected for Reminder checkbox in the grid. Selections can be saved by clicking the Save Changes button or simply by clicking outside the grid. To discard selections, click on the Discard Changes button.

To trigger email notifications for the selected actions, users must click the Send Email Reminder button. For each action, an email is sent to the assigned owner, providing details about the action and a reminder of its impending due date.
