During the Execute the Action stage of the Action Item workflow, action item owners now have the ability to accept or reject assigned actions.
This choice is provided at the bottom of the Execute the Action form through a radio button.
- If the user selects Yes, the action item is accepted, and execution can proceed.
- A new accordion called ‘Enter Observations and/or Attach Evidence’ will appear, which allows users to provide details about the execution.

- If the user selects No, the action item is rejected, and the reassignment process can proceed.
- The Action Refused button will automatically replace the Action Completed button.
- Users can select this button to confirm the rejection and remove the task assignment from their folder.

- The rejected action item is automatically returned to its original creator for reassignment.
