Delivery schedule differences can arise when JIT delivery schedules partially replace preceding forecast delivery schedules and thereby reduce the quantity. The difference resulting from the different call-off quantities is recorded as a schedule line difference. This is inserted on the first working day after the end of the period covered by the JIT delivery schedule and runs until the end of the replaced delivery schedule.
In order to use differentials, the setting Fine call off differences
must be activated in the respective partner order in the tab General
.
Example: A JIT delivery schedule replaces a delivery schedule with 600. In the overlapping period the JIT delivery schedule contains 400. 200 is created as a difference schedule line.
