3.5. Birthday Celebrations and Party Invitations

Birthday celebrations are encouraged at CHCA—we want students to know they are special!

On-Campus Parties:

• Lunch Celebrations:
  • A parent must contact the UE office to reserve a space outside the cafeteria.
  • Parents are to stay with and monitor student(s) during the lunchtime.
  • If food and/or treats are brought in, you must provide for (1) only your child or (2) everyone in the eating space.
  • If friends are joining the parent and birthday student, the parent should contact the friend’s family in advance.
  • Latex balloons may not to be used or distributed during the party.

Off-Campus Parties:

• To avoid student exclusion in the learning environment, invitations to private parties may not be distributed at school.
