Purpose of Accreditation Policy and Procedure Manual

The Accreditation Commission under governance of ACPE has established the following policies, procedures and appendices (accreditation reporting formats) to foster quality and consistency in implementing the accreditation process. The Commission policy and procedure manual outlines the responsibilities and functions of the Accreditation Commission, and responsibilities of other persons involved in accreditation evaluation. In addition and most importantly, the Accreditation Commission is tasked along with the ACPE Standards Commission to develop clear and effective accreditation process definitions, policies and procedures and reporting requirements to eliminate procedural confusion and increase timely compliance with ACPE CPE accreditation.
