Taking an Assigned Test

So you have received notification that you have a test assigned to you. Login to your entities online CIRATS training facility. Select the “Assessment Menu” and then select “Take Assessment Test”.

Use the dropdown menu to view and then select your assigned test.

If media is associated with the test there will be a hyper-link labeled “PLAY SEMINAR”. This would be the first thing they should do prior to taking the test. If there is no assigned media, they may simply begin by pressing the black hyper-link that is labeled “Begin Test”. Also, they should receive instruction regarding and PDF based material that they should review. If there is attached PDF media a hyper-link would be available to the right of the Play Seminar link.

After pressing the “PLAY SEMINAR” link the user sees this screen in a new window.

Clicking the left mouse key on the “Click to start Media” link will start the video streaming to Media Player unless the “Use MMS” option is off in which case the media will begin streaming immediately. When finished they would close Media Player (if necessary) and then click on the [Finished] button to return to take the test.

A tester will be required to watch the entire video and press finished when they have completed viewing the media unless the test has the [ ] Exempt Media Duration box checked.

Taking the Assessment Test:

Indicate your selection of the correct answer by clicking on the circular button next to the answer you wish to choose. You may go forward and backward through the test by using the PREVIOUS and NEXT buttons. When all the questions are completed within the time period a FINISH button will appear. Press the FINISH button when you are ready to score the test. If a test is not completed in time it will self-terminate. This whole testing process is very simply designed and is very easy to do.

Once completed, the test taker will be shown their test with correct answers in green and incorrect answers in red and their final score. If they did not make the passing grade threshold, the score will be red and the test will need to be reassigned and retaken.
