Wildcard Search

OneLook will allow a Wildcard search. The default is to allow only wildcard search VALUE*.

Default Wildcard Search using VALUE*

If you need to search using more complex criteria ( *VALUE, *VALUE * , VALUE*VALUE ) the control file parameter *Z174x where x equals the system id code must be created and set to Y.

To setup the control file parameter *Z147x , type GO RVMAINT at an IBMi command line (RVILIB must be in your library list).

Now when you login to OneLook you can use the additional wildcard search options ( *VALUE, *VALUE * , VALUE*VALUE ).
