SIM usage

This section of our reporting and analytics platform displays data on your data usage over the SIM cards. SIM usage varies depending on how much data you request from the vehicle in any given month.Liveview, download, all video playback is data that flows via the SIM card over the mobile data networks. The more video you watch, the more data travels over the SIM cards.

*Your data allowance is totalled across all vehicles. It is possible to exceed the limit on individual vehicles, but if you exceed the total usage allowance, there may be an excess usage charge from the provider. Transport Customers SIM Cards are 1Gb of data at point of installation. The normal consumption of SIM Card data is approximately 500Mb per vehicle per month. Higher data limits are available at additional cost.

• Access SIM usage report by clicking on the phone icon in the menu
• Colourful charts show your current usage in that month (with colour coding on a dial to show when you are close to excess), historical usage, and per-vehicle usage

• View vehicle usage for the current month or previous month

• You can also view SIM usage data in the Vehicle Status table
