Our unique software turns your onboard camera into an edge computer that you can access securely to view, review or download video. But it is really important to understand retention.

Video on board is constantly over-writing the oldest files on your camera. If you wish to refer again to any video footage, it is critical that you download that file promptly.

Downloaded video is stored in our system for up to 5 years.

Video is stored on the camera on your vehicle for up to a maximum of 28 days. Video older than that cannot be recovered. Please note:

  • Busy vehicles are very likely to have onboard storage of less than 28 days.
  • The more video that is recorded, the greater the pressure on space on the camera.
  • Oldest files are overwritten first.
  • Your PlayBack request and Instant PlayBack calendars will show the oldest available files. If retention on a vehicle is not as you expect, please feel free to contact our support team or book new maintenance work.
  • You can access the camera to see all stored footage any time: Instant PlayBack
  • You must download video files have them available in future, or to get a sharable link
  • We recommend that you download files promptly.
  • If you have a file that you rely on for a claim or a court case, we recommend that you keep a local file.
