Setting up CadConnect

The setup screen for CadConnect looks like this:

Each CADCONNECT construction is assigned a unique number, which can be selected either manually or automatically from a number series definition from NAV. (Divisions / Settings / Program Settings / General / Number Series).

CADCONNECT Surface Template

For any possible variant of a subject designated for a surface treatment, it is coded here. It is possible to retrieve 2 table values, % 1 is item number and % 2 is the surface code. Surface codes (variants) can be created from the CadConnect Task main menu item – CadConnect – Variant.

If the file to be downloaded from the same place every time, but has different names, it is advantageous to place a path reference in this field. The first time downloading a file to the CADCONNECT, you will be asked for the file format and path, and the system remembers the path.

Default Sheet

The standard folder name is used for files with multiple sheets, such as in an Excel sheet. Is the data retrieved from the same sheet, it can usefully be defined here. The first time you download a file into the CADCONNECT, you will be asked for the journal name, then the system remembers the path.
