Customers can send text messages to operators and operators can reply via cell phone to the text message and receive 0.20 per reply! *Operators can only reply once per text message and the text message is routed securely through our private carrier service (both the operator and customer phone number are hidden).
As the group owner you can receive and reply to any text message sent to the operators listed under your account. *Please note that the operator account must have your mobile phone number listed in their profile in order for you to receive the incoming text message.
How does it work?
When the customer chooses to send a normal (email) message they will see an additional option to send a text message. We have found that many customers choose this option because it gets the attention of the operator faster then a simple email. The customer sends the text message similar to sending a email (via the browser).
How does the text message appear?
The text message is received on the operator’s mobile phone in this format:
New SMS from {customer name} via {your site name}

To reply to this message enter the following code textcode followed by your message.
To reply to the text you will need to enter the textcode and message and the reply text is sent securely to the customer’s phone and inbox. You can only reply once per text message and you will receive 0.20 instantly after the reply. This amount is credited to your group owner account. The replied text message is then received on the customer’s phone and in the customer’s text message inbox. The customer can then reply to the message and tus continue the text conversation.
Privacy policy: All text messages are routed securely through our private carrier service. This means that the caller id will show the carrier number and never display the customer or operator’s personal phone number.
