Budgetary Transfer Guidelines for General Accounts

Budgetary transfers may be requested through the District’s financial applications software. Approvers and Requestors have access to the Budget Transfer Request module in the ERP system. The Business Administrator and the Superintendent approve requests before ratification by the Board of Education. Each month the MHRD Board of Education also accepts the NJDOE Monthly Transfer Report.

NJDOE regulations govern budget transfer requests. The regulations prohibit transfers between funds.
