At Bright World, we are providing a quality service to our customers. Part of this service is the assurance that children are well supervised cared for and not left unattended for unreasonable lengths of time or at all if they are under 14 and that anyone taking care of our students is an adult vetted by us.

Bright World rules

Students Under 14
Students are not to be left on their own at any time (including overnight) and must have all meals provided for them as opposed to having to cook for themselves.

Students Over 14
Students are not to be left overnight and only for a reasonable period of time, if they are comfortable being left alone. A reasonable amount of time is defined as a period of time encompassing one recognized mealtime only. They must never be left alone with host family children or students younger than themselves, in a “babysitting” capacity.

No student must ever be left alone overnight.

No student with high risk medical conditions (i.e. a condition which could lead to a threat to life) must ever be left alone.
